Time flies when you're running a business, working part-time for another company, raising kids, moving your Mom across the country, building a deck and getting as much family and outdoor time out of the summer as you can before the cold Canadian fall and winter settle in.
The month of September was a busy one with the return to school for my daughter and my son's first day of junior kindergarten and let me tell you what, there is not a parenting manual, infographic or parenting group out there that prepared me for the overwhelming sadness that I felt when I dropped my son off at his first day of school. I watched as his big sister took his hand and lead him into the school yard and they both look back at me like "you don't love us anymore?" I cried the whole way home. Then when I sat down to start doing some work for my clients I found myself unable to work because it was so quiet. I almost turned on Cocomelon just to make it through the day. Almost. I haven't lost all my sanity...yet. The kids ended up having a great day at school and have enjoyed their first month.
This last month was super busy for the company that I am working for part-time so I found that Dreamweaver work slowed down a little to accommodate that, however, now that a new rhythm has been found I have thrown myself back into Dreamweaver with an excitement and passion that I believe will grow Dreamweaver into the company that I have been dreaming of since I graduated college in the spring.
